Weave Nature's Beauty
Cattail Basket Necklace Class
"Step into the rhythm of nature as we gather for a day of creative exploration and connection."
"In this immersive workshop, you will learn to weave a beautiful, functional basket necklace using traditional basket weaving techniques. In addition to learning this ancient skill, we will also weave in the sacred ways to use a medicine bag as a tool for prayer and setting intentions. And because we believe in the idea of wholeness, we will also take time to learn about the humble cattail and its many uses as we nourish our mind, body, and spirit."
Prayers - our deepest hopes and desires that we don't yet fully understand.
Intentions - those things we already know and wish to bring into reality.
We will also dive in for a closer look at this amazing plant and its many uses; it really is an incredible plant!

The Art of Natural Cleaning
Description:
Tired of harsh chemical cleaners and artificial fragrances? It's time to reconnect with the earth and transform your cleaning routine into a joyful, nontoxic, and aromatic practice.
Beyond a clean home, this workshop is an opportunity to cultivate well-being. We'll explore how the simple act of cleaning can be a form of self-care, how a tidy space can create a peaceful mind, and how the power of natural aromas can uplift your spirit. This class is an invitation to create a sanctuary—for your home, and for yourself.
Join us for a hands-on workshop where we will journey into the world of wild herbs, harnessing their natural power to create a complete kit of effective, earth-friendly household products.
We will explore the art of steam distillation to craft a versatile hydrosol, an herbal water that can be used as a general disinfectant, a streak-free glass cleaner, an air purifier, or even a refreshing face and body spray. You'll learn how to harness the specific properties of different plants for a truly customized, multi-purpose product.
"Throughout the day, you will learn the fundamental skills to formulate your own natural cleaning products from scratch."
We will cover the principles behind different types of cleansers, and you will leave with a complete kit of effective, earth-friendly household products that you make yourself. Recipes may vary seasonally, but we will explore making things such as:
-
A versatile hydrosol for surface sprays and air fresheners.
-
A powerful scouring scrub for kitchens and bathrooms.
-
A refreshing powder for carpets and upholstery.
-
And a specialty spray to combat tough grime or mildew.
